Well, I am in love with my rickenbacker. as you can tell from my name what year it is. Um ive played a 4003 once and ive noticed a bit of difference, mostly soundwise. But adressing the slapping thing, I can slap on my ric i think because i have DR highbeams. But most of my slapping i do on my spector Q4. I need to do a bit of work on my ric, because the prev owner put an elevated brass nut and a badassII bridge (which also prob adds to the slappability of it) does ny1 here know of someone in Massachusetts that could help me?
