So here are some projects that I am working on now ...

Custom paint job on a Rick for people who do lots of drugs

a plastic bridge insert for a 4003 because nothing sustains like plastic

Dropping in some extra pickups in 4001/4003 basses

And I have a new Binford 2000 router with more power ... it really rips into the wood

And a new pickguard for my 4004 ... because it was too pretty before

And I am improving my refinishing skills with extra rough sand paper and krylon spray paint

Paul, I have the previous edition and I really enjoy reading it a lot! What else is new in this edition if you don't mind summarizing it briefly?

Added 16 pages, 40 new photos, updated information to cover the 4003W and the reintroduction of the 4003S (and SW), got better photos of some rarities, more custom mods (including three of Ric5's), an entirely new chapter on the special order basses RIC made for its distributors/dealers, FINALLY got some usable photos of Geddy Lee with Ricks, and updated the family tree/timeline graphic foldout in the back. Sadly, had to "past tense" our heroes Chris Squire and Lemmy in a few places, made some corrections from the first edition, and redesigned the cover.

Not to mention completely rewiring it, and changing the output jack from a single to dual output. Heresy!
