Rig weight/gigs comparison

I hope you mean gigs and not doubling the weight of your rig!
Now you 250+lbs. guys, OUCH..either a gym membership or a good chiropractor must be in order...

Total: 88lbs about (including bass).
Work full time so dont play that many gigs a year, but rock/reggae with PA support runs fine right now. Might switch to a light 1x15 + 2x10 setup.

Why are we totaling the weights of all of the components of our rigs together? My roadies have never picked up my 8x10 and my SVT head and my bass and my wire bag simultaneously and then complained. They take more than one trip.

B.) 150 give or take...
But soon I will have my full rig...
A.) 135 lbs... (35 lbs - BAss/floorboard in double guitar case/ 100 lbs... preamp, line cond., berg IP310)
B.) 366 what!?!?!?!?

no conclusions yet? I suspect that TB has such a wide variety of dreamers, players, pros and noodlers that have rigs that vary as much as their musical tastes.

a. Schroeder 1212R 57lbs. - Carvin B800 22 lbs. = 79 lbs. Add 8 lbs. more for my bass.

Large gigs-Markbass LMII, CXL112 & Ashdown115 about 66lbs
Loud/Outdoor gigs-Two LMII in series. One runs the CXL112 and the Ashdown, the other LMII runs the wizzy110 about 90lbs
If you want, you can add 60lbs for URB and 15lbs for the MM SUB bass.
Play between 75 and 125 gigs a year.

More and more I only use my combo amp = 45 pounds.
But probably still my most common rig is combo + extension cab = 75 pounds.

Weight: amp 5 kg (500W) + 2x10 cab 21 kg + 4x10 cab 29 kg = 55 kg. Note I don't always bring the whole rig.
Gigs: Too few... nowadays maybe around 10/year. *ashamed*. Used to do about 25/year in my old band in my home town... I want to blame the competition in my current home town for the low number; here's just too many pros that seem to take take all gigs, but I admit that if I was less lazy I'd probably have more. Anyway, I can't compete with the pro's.... I have a full-time job preventing me from gigging other than weekends, but I guess I could have about 30 a year without a problem. I miss gigging with my old band...

Total weight of my rack and my 8x10 is probably in the 150 pound range. I won't bother including the weight of my smaller cab as it only does about 5% of my gigs.
