Anyone heard of Lightning Bolt?
Since I'm here.... here is a variation of my rig of doom.

2x15"
1x18"
400 watts of Sunn solid state power
and a supercollider.
My drum and bass stoner rock band is just as loud, sometimes louder than the full bands we've played with.
Insanely enough, instead of the Acoustic, I'd love to have a 4ohm 4x15, configured in a square shape like the 4x12, just bigger. Marshall made one back in the day, but I doubt I'd ever find one. Plus it'd probably be cheaper to just build one myself.
Sunn concert bass head with matching 2x15 to the left. Mesa 2x10. Ampeg svt 4x10 hlf. Ampeg B2RE head. Fender M-80 head with matching 2x15 to the right.
Hope this counts! And yes, it's all hooked up. There's a Trace Elliot 1818 that is holding up the rack. Each channel of the Pearce goes into its own compressor, channel of the Aphex and into its own amp. The QSC powers the two Acmes, the Crest powers the Bergantino and the Trace.

Wow...that's a little more that double what I used to gig with. A Pearce BC-1 into a PLX2402 with one channel feeding a 4 ohm Acme B2 Series II and the other feeding an EVM 15 in a TL606 cabinet. The Acme saw clean signal only and the EVM saw either clean or a blend of clean plus dirty. It was quite awesome!
Ha! This is really the "basement" set-up (or "because I can"), I don't take all this stuff out at the same time. The Berg and an Acme or just the Acmes will do the trick pretty much anywhere I play. Less to carry is always nice!
That's interesting how you split the signal, I actually do the opposite... I use the Pearce's overdrive and FX loop only on channel 1 and that goes to the Acme(s). Channel 2 (the low) stays clean.

TB Member Ron Now uses a 4x15 in his stoner metal band Bongripper (AWESOME group) made by Invalid Link Removed out of Chicago.
Not quite as DOOMy as some of these other rigs, and definitely not as DOOMy as i want it to be. someday
Here I've got the 410 and 412 running from the 2 channels of the power amp. Now I've got a LMII that I run to the 410 and A/B it with the 412 and my rack stuff.
Bongripper is awesome. I saw a picture of that cab along with an Emperor 4x12. He used to post here a lot but a few months ago people here started bitching at him any time he'd post his rig saying there's no need for a band to be that loud and crap like that. I think he got sick of hearing it and stopped posting, never see him here anymore which is pretty lame.
He still comes around effects from time to time, and lurks. I've talked to him a few times, especially recently, through Private Message. Very nice guy.
And when you're Bongripper, you TOTALLY need to be that loud.
Does anyone know what speaker Emperor use in their 4x15 bass cabs...my guitar players have Emperor full stacks...one has a 2x15 + 4x12...I was just wondering what speakers they use I know you can tell them to use whatever speakers you what but the guy that makes the cabs has few favorites =].

Wow... T40 + Tube Ampeg + Peavey 3620 + Sunn cab= Are you TRYING to throw out your back??? That collection is made up of some of the HEAVIEST bass gear made! Bet it sounds great
