I got my current rig $900 USD when I was 14. I wish I had the patience to have saved up for it. Instead I got a $600 loan from my mom...

Yeah my MOM whipped out the checkbook to buy my first amplifier in 1968 after I blew the speakers outta Dad's stereo. I think she paid about $65 at the original Guitar Center in Crystal, MN for a used Kalamazoo Bass 30. I did a lot of gigging with that little rig before getting a new blackfaced 67 Bassman head and building several different cabinets. BOB

I actually just paid off my debt to her and now I've acquired enough money to buy a new bass. Soon I'll want more pedals... damn you GAS. $7.50 an hour is not condusive for high intensity GAS.

Yeah well Wasted, you're just 16... With the way the wind and snow are blowing here right now in Soo Foo you should be getting the pogies beat outta you in FARGO... When the blowing stops, do like I did when I was 16, pick up the snow shovel.. and start walking down the block. You'll do a lot better than $7.50 an hr too. Or if Mom has bought you a snowblower, fire that bugger up and it will just cost you that sort of gas...

Just think, GAS making you GAS money... You do enough of it and you can buy whatever you want.

Money can buy you love; however, it won't buy dedication. BOB
