wow.. Servodrives.. wow.....

The BGW slays.. i had the black 750 years ago.. it was heavy but boy was it thick sounding.... Its good to see them still being used
Here's mine at the moment. It's not really a rig 'o doom in the normal sense, but the rack head weighs about 65 pounds, 55 for the BGW alone.

My soon to be Rig of Doom!

*Ok, not actually a function rig of doom at the moment. I have no idea what the impedance of the Trace cab is (and it has crazy XLR jacks), but the 610HLF is 4 ohms all ready so it's not going to work with the GK... but don't you worry, I have plenty of other amps to work with!

Here's my real rig, and it still sound pretty gosh darn good:

No pics to post of my old "Rig of Doom" but it consisted of A Mesa/Boogie Bass400 in an 8space shockmount case, atop a Bagend 18" flanked by two Ampeg 8'x10' cabs. One ampeg cab went on the other side of the drum riser

That's when I was touring/playing with Slayer and bands like that...with a Road Crew. I couldn't carry all that stuff...

That's my two cents!

Be well.

Eric.

My rig of DOOM! 1974 Marshall Super Bass into Marshall 4x12 (JCM800 Bass Series model 1520) and 2x15 (JCM800 Bass Series model 1551) bass cabs. :D It's LOUD and AGGRESSIVE!! :D

I'll post an update to my rig of doom. I just added the Peavey 115 cab to the mix. :D I'll never need all of this but now I have more options for which cabs to take to a jam or gig.

We cleaned up the room and rearranged everything to make room for the drum set so I'm pumped about it.

I'm pretty excited about this setup. I just grabbed a copy of our CD we finished recording this week. It sounds pretty good for being completely amateur. My bass didn't sound like I wanted (it's a lot lower and less defined than what I was expecting) but I'm pleased with the results.

Today has just been a great day.
