this was in my garage up until yesterday. sadly, the JMP is not mine.
Do you get a better response with the cabs on their sides? I've noticed sometimes others do that, sometimes not...

Ive tried 4 times. What am I doing wrong?

OK: this is my method, not quite ortodox but it worked in MS Internet Explorer:
In your message, you type (img)(/img) but use square brackets instead of parentheses. Then you go to the image, somewhere on the internet. Right click on the image, then left click on Properties. THEN copy the Image URL out of the pop-up window. Paste THAT between the wraps.

Not yet. Dont really need too.LOL I usally just use 1 410 or the 215 with the STV Pro III (waiting for tubes for the 400+). Its covered about everything Ive had too do so far. When I did use both 410's, It was awesome. Hoping some day to go hog wild and go with all of them with the 400+ since the Ampeg only goes to 4 ohms.

i suppose. some swear more contact with the floor is a good thing, some swear that the cabs need to be stacked vertically. in this case, i had the mesa powering the bottom one, which was lower and cleaner sounding, and the grindy upper mids coming out of the marshall/top cab. it sounded amazing and i really really wish i was buying that marshall.
Yeah I understand the whole floor thing, not sure if it translates much to a concrete garage floor, but I was just wondering if there was much real world difference with 2 810 cabs, since the floor area is about the same either way. If one cab has higher freqs I would do the same and stack it on top...
Is that JMP new or vintage? What do you like about it?

It would translate *the best* to a concrete garage floor. Acoustic coupling with a floor is about reflection, and a garage floor is just about the best reflection you can get.
