RIGS OF DOOM - Ch. 3

My updated and cut down Rig of Doom. SVT-6 Pro 1100 watts @ 4 ohms going into the 4 ohm 800 watt Berg.
This is all I need for now. (except for the ADA MB-1 I just picked up. That will be racked soon)

I wonder why there are no women in this pissing contest> My wife commented that in a woman's mind, bigger is not always better.

Maybe. But I'll play a little bit . . .

It's not as doomy as most here, but it'll do for now -- and it really roars. It's actually two Behringer K3000FX combo PA/keyboard amps, ganged together through a stereo link, 300 watts each. On the input side I use my Digitech effects board with several different bass amp emulations, which also feeds a hot signal to the amps. Because the combos have slant fronts, I rehoused one of them into a flat-faced cabinet I built. (I'll eventually recover the top one with the same grey carpet as the bottom one.) I've had lots of people make comments like "wow . . . a bassist with tone!" Yeah, it's loud when I want it, to the point where it hurts and shakes pictures off the walls. It's modular and expandable -- and it also breaks down and carries with one person.

Here's some doom I put together a few years ago and my friends standing next to it for height comparison. He IS and short guy and she IS a tall girl. lol

GK Backline 4x10, Yamaha 6x10, and Crate 4x12 all ran by the crate on top.

Excepting donations of 10's that you aren't using anymore. The Yamaha cab's speakers stopped working and I would love to get it back up and running.

And finally, a picture of the area of my rig I kindly refer to as Hell...

Got my second Concert Slave today (middle amp). It's in even better condition than my first slave amp. Haven't taken the amp out to see the date on it yet though.

Anyways... continue posting your rigs of cute. :hiding:

I kid, I kid. ;)
