Into your average Ampeg SVT810E.

It may not be doomy compared to half the amps out here, but I paid $666 for that head (after a trade in), so that makes it doomy if you ask me. I'm thinking about adding a rack tuner into the extra space, or the Furman PL-Tuner.

It's a hell of a lot better/louder than the Ampeg B2RE I was running, and I love the tubes in it. I can get some nice distortion on it, too. I absolutely love this head.

I had the older style Yorkville 800 watt version of that head and it was a solid performer. Good choice with the Traynor. I'd still have my 800 except that I really like the Genz Benz tone so I sold the 800 after I got my GBE1200.

sorry i forgot the specifications, that is a 50 watt selmer bass and treble head with a I think 25watt carlsboro practice amp for the mids and a 1 watt DjTech from Maplin for the high end. you can see a duster and some kind of white bag on the floor where they have been shaken off because of the volume. the anglepoise lamp is dircted at the front so i can pose in the spotlight and take photos

Sorry guys, but the only shot I have of my rig has my ugly mug in it...lol.

Currently running a SA BDDI as a preamp (until I get my hands on an RBI), through a BBE 462, to a Carvin HD1800, then out to 2 Ampeg 8*10 Classics.

Yes....I wear hearing protection, and enjoy every minute of it!

Is my rig "Doomy" enough to qualify?

This is not really mine, but I play through it every week. It actually belongs to my guitarist and lives in his studio. Don't ask me why he thought I needed so much horsepower in a studio rig. I guess he justs wants to make sure he can hear me. The SWR is now at my house for a practice head ... when I play though what's in the picture I use the Ampeg preamp and the Crown. Unless we are recording. Then I sit by the engineer in the control room and plug directly into the board.

The FrankenCabs were built by a local speaker builder. They sound ok ... but I am GASing for a V-12 and dual 4x10 cabs.
