The one in the back. Veyron Mosfet with Tecamp L610. For what I do and the folks I play for, yes that Rig will get me fired. dualtecamp.JPG

Damn! I always liked the 4.5 XL cabs. I call those King Cobra Cabs 'cause they have a deadly attack and those 5-inchers go "SSSSSSSS"
That's a good one! An underrated cab for sure IMO. I disconnected the 5 inch driver in one of the cabs, the one I use when I only use one cab (wish they had an attenuater). I find that it still gets plenty of high end, sound better with effects and I get a lot less string noise. When I use two cabs, the one with the fictional 5 goes on the bottom- it fills it in nicely.

Yep, those aluminum cones go plenty high. I ran 2x 410 Transporters for a while, then a 410 & 115 XL after that. I think the 4.5's had the best lows of the bunch IMO. I added one of those 5" drivers to my 115 XL towards the end (Came out of one of those arrays that had 4 of them in it). It made for a great HiFi-esque stand alone cab for the smaller gigs.

There was also a 4.5 XL for sale at the shop when I got the 810 hydrive, I was tempted...

and a pair of 410 Transporters is actually pretty good sounding as well, 55lbs each only and 300W rms each. they will smack down an 810 XL (sealed cab) in the low end. the 810 & 210 XLs that are sealed cabs I never liked, those aluminum Drivers need to breathe...
