Please tell us about these cabinets! 
At first, I thought the one on the left is an Acoustic 408 cabinet, but the speaker facing up looks smaller than a 15...

Those Bag Ends take absolutely everything my 1001RB has to give. I've never moved as much air as I have today. By the way, the 1001RB holds up pretty well against a HiWatt DR405. The Sound City is working but going to the amp doctor soon!

I keep hearing 15s are the standard for sludge metal, would 18s work? I'm completing a 1300 mile move soon and only bringing what fits into my car, so I'm going to be hunting (/building) some new cabs. I was thinking 215 or 218. Or 418. I don't need the volume, but I overkill is underrated and I want a spot with the Rig of Doom group. I'll likely be pushing them with a Peavey VB-2.
I mean, if you are going to go for inefficient large diameter drivers in a huge cab, why not 21"? That would be awe inspiringly doomy.
Carvin's 18s are rated at being usable to 26hz, I figured cramming a bunch of them in a box would be awesome.
It's likely that it would need to be a very (very) large box or your 26 Hz would quickly become 40, 60 or 80 Hz...
I don't know if this qualifies because I'm only running through one cab (PH412) , but this rig can handle any size gig that I can throw at it.

1,000-watt, 410 x 2 rig doesn’t qualify for this thread, but it's okay... starting at an older age, it didn’t take me long to get a 4lb head and 34 lb cab, haha.
I wont say much, but it might behoove you to do a little research and see if thats the best way to utilize those cabs.

Nice rig man. Like me, just got back into it this year and had to buy an amp, cab, bass. I didn't have anything left anymore, other than the first bass I ever bought. A mock p-bass.
This rig is in progress. Not Doom rig qualified but it's a start. That Aguilar is an absolute beast and the Fender pro is just awesome.
