Hey

She's a Trace Elliot 1528, 1048 and a military grade AH500X head...

Driven by a 67 P Bass... never had this Beast above 4... knocks the shelves off the wall in the practice room next to ours and will loosen the bowels of even the most fiber deprived/

I still have a couple of other combos but this is the main stuff I use in bits and pieces for gigs. Depending on the venue I use different pieces of this stack of stuff. Never had it all together before.

For once in this thread, I'm actually jealous...I had the huge TE rig back when I worked for one of their dealers, so your pic really really brings me back to the day...

Yes Mrs. Eagle was home but didn't see me mucking about out there... that is her Jeep Grand Cherokee in the driveway! Had my next door neighbor seen it, she might have passed out thinking I was going to get even for her son's screamo band that practices in her garage...

Yes all the cabinets with the faux hiwatt badges are Carvin. The two on the outside bottom are Carvin 115 cabinets from 1980, I bought them new without speakers and installed Gauss 15s. The Gauss speakers succumbed to age and I replaced them with Celestion Neo 15s which are much easier on my back. The horn loaded cabinets are Carvin 971 PA cabinets that I have been using in my bass rig. They have an amazing midrange and high presence. That rig with the four cabinets together sounds amazing. The Center Two are a V118 and V410 Cabs from the early 90s. The hiwatt badges were about 15 bucks at a local sign shop, but I kept the original Carvin badges and may replace them at some point.

I've never ownded any trace stuff, but always wanted to give it run. There used to be a bassplayer in a town up in Sonoma County Ca. that got the most amazing tone from a Trace rig.
I also gotta say I love the 2x15 + 4x10 setup. I used to run that (with Mesa and Acoustic cabs) back in my pre+power amp days and it really can bring the thunder.

This is beyond epic. Yes, it is a guitar rig but there's enough bass stuff to go around. In fact, it would be pretty hard to beat if used as a bass rig as well. Unbelievable...

lol, i found their backline rider from 06 on google the other day, theyve added about 1-2 amps/cabs.

i asked this in another thread but ill ask here, how do they plug all this stuff in without blowing fuses left and right? my band only runs 4 heads and weve blown fuses a few times, those guys are running 10 huge tube heads, im just wondering how they do it.

cause id like to do the same.
