I want to get rid of my pickup truck and buy a sportier car like the Chevy Camaro or Ford Mustang. I also want to downsize my amp. Anyone in this situation with one of these cars? Thanks in advance...

Rigs that fit in a Camaro or Mustang?

What are your needs?
An F body has very little room inside. The back seat is tiny. The "trunk" is nothing more than a small hole that might (might) fit a 1X12 combo in it.
EDIT: I'm mainly talking about 2002 and older...

i used to put a carvin 15" cab in the back of my little toyota hatch back and seatbelted my 2x10 in the passenger seat. my head and my bass sat behind me.
I fit 2) svt 210av's and a GK MB500 in the trunk of my 2013 camaro but I always have PA support so I dont need more than that.
Get a challenger. BIG trunk for a sports car.

I have SVT CL and 810 that is going... I mainly do small gigs with PA. I have a Markbass SD800 head, looking for a cab that will fit in a smallish car with head and 1 bass.
2 x Bergantino hd112's. Modular and loud. And sound amazing.

im more into imports that actually admit they are imports. Instead of cars made in Mexico by companies that claim to be american. That said, you can fit two ampeg 410he cabs in a Mitsubishi Lancer evolution and still have room for a bass, a small rack, and a small pedalboard. A used 2014 wrx hatch has even more space. Both these cars from 0-60 are fast enough imo.
Get a challenger. BIG trunk for a sports car.

To answer the OP's question, I would think a pair of 112 cabs such as GK Neo 112's and a compact head would fit in either the trunk or back seat of just about any car.
Bought the truck when I was playing a lot..... Now not that often, tired of driving a truck. Thanks for advice.
Probably faster than both a Mustang and a Camaro unless you're talking a GT-500 and whatever they're calling an SS these days.
I can get my F212, rack, and bass in a challenger. Worth driving, worth gigging with too.
Yeah unless you spend big money for a gt-500, a boss, or over 70k on a z28 the wrx sti and evolution gsr are both faster cars from light to light for less and they have a lot more room, are awd and better handling. They don't have the top end power, but who cares how fast a car can get from 70mph to 150mph when doing so will likely put you in jail. My mom drives a 2011 ss camaro btw.

Consider a Revsound 2x12 - vertically aligned speakers, and not much bigger than a 2x10. Should fit in most back seats, as it is not that deep. I'm happy with the sound and the price.

To your actual question. I drive a car that has similar trunk dimensions. Any of the switching power supply amps will fit more than easily. I also have a Mesa Prodigy that fits without much effort. For putting anything in the back seat it is the awkward angle and cab weight that are the enemy's. I can get my Bergie 2x12 in the back seat laying on it's side, but fighting it past the forward folded passenger seat, seat belt and low ceiling is a doable pain. You should be able to get a modern 1x12 laying on it's back into the Mustang or Camaro trunk. It is not the depth but the wheel wells that get'cha.

Get the pony car with a trailer hitch and get yourself a small folding trailer like the Harbor Freight 4x8 folding trailer. Rig it with a 3/4" plywood floor, and set up 2x4 and plywood sides, and a top panel that will screw on and you are set to go! Now you can have your 8x10 and, well more or less whatever you want on the go!
That could work if I had a garage to store the trailer when not in use.
