Ringo Starr & All Starr Band @ St. Augustine!

I am excited to see this show tonight, after looking at who is in the All Starr band!

Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette as well as Buck Johnson on keyboards.

Hamish Stuart of the Average White Band, Steve Lukather (!!) will play guitar and bass. Gregg Bissinette is heavy-weight too, and Colin Hay was the lead singer for Men at Work! Anyway, quite a band and of course I love Ringo’s playing, with deep respect after watching Ron Howard’s excellent documentary “Eight Days a Week”.

Unfortunately Colin Hay was ill and missed the show, but Hamish is killing it, is Luke and Gregg, the band is hot, and Ringo is a real Star, truly.

Luke really sticks to the point when he’s playing bass! He switches to bass when Hamish leads a tune and switches to rhythm guitar. Although Hamish can play bass and really sing, too. Very impressed with his performance so far.

Burt was the singer, songwriter and keyboardist for The Guess Who.
He had been touring with Ringos All Stars, I guess until recently.
But Ringo only tours with MONSTER players so any show of his is gonna be awesome!

Saw Ringo last Friday at the Hard Rock in Fort Lauderdale. Great show.
