Fellow TBers, I bring unfortunate news, and I pray that I'm not stepping on anyone's toes in doing so. Some of you may already be aware, but our member @Michael Stanley 2112 has passed.

I only knew Michael briefly thru our exchanges in The Temple of 2112, in The One Brain-Celled Bassists' Club (Pt. 2), in The Mediocre Bassist Club, and also our PMs. He was very talented, extremely intelligent, and hilariously funny. Many of you know that Michael had been dealing with terminal illness for some time, and I admire his strength and resolve in accepting his fate and ensuring as smooth a transition for his family and friends despite the physical and emotional pain he endured.

RIP Michael, I pray you are now free from all pain. Thanks for all you did, will never forget the laughs!

Sad news indeed. I wish I would've gotten to know Michael in person. Pretty unique character - in a good way - judging by his posts here.

RIP, sir, you'll be missed.

He was a regular in the Mediocre club and is missed. He has my greatest respect for his decisions and the way handled his final journey.

Oh, geez. So sorry to hear this. He was a good guy. I worked with him on a project for one of his tunes to make a new drum track. I wrote the drum parts in Finale. Finale played the drum parts and I mixed those into Michael's recording with Audacity. I enjoyed working on it. You are missed, my friend!
