It's almost time to start. I decided on a 4 string fretless after all. I know, I know, but I realized that it wouldn't go over too well if I showed up on someone's gig without being 100% comfortable. I just sold my other fretless 4 to fund it, so I need to replace that one first...for the next one, I can go crazy (actually, I was thinking 6 string piccolo, but that's a long way off. I need to pay for this one first.) We just need to pick the top wood, decide if the Nordys should be series or parralell, look into the structural integrity of Morado as a fretless board, and finalize the wood covers for the pickups. Once the top wood is set, all the other stuff comes later. I will post progress pics here.

Hey Nicky, I would highly suggest series wiring for the Nordies. They are pretty bright pickups and the series wiring really benefits them by adding body.

I think you're wise going with a 4-string since it's what you're used to. It will really make the "bonding" time with the instrument that much better!:)

Is one side of the goncalo stained and the other is not? On my computer, looks like 2 different shades for right and left bookmatch.:hmm:
