Ritter?

Has anyone here played a Ritter, or lucky enough to own one? Just wondering if they play as beautiful as they look.

I've seen them up close a few times, but I haven't worked up the guts to pick one up up and play for fear of severe Ritter-GAS. Spending 5K or more on a bass scares me a bit.

I have one, and, yes, they do play as good as they look. There is nothing like them.

Yep, played a couple at The Low End's Bass Bash (JT's 7 string and the 5 string Brian had)..

WONDERFUL basses!! Would love to have one!!!

I've played a few, and they're not for me. The necks are pretty chunky and I don't like the tone. But they are constructed well and they look nice...just not for me.

I played Tom's before he sold it. Great bass, but as Tom said, not for me. It was beautifully constructed, and had a really nice tone, but for what some of them go for, I could buy two or three Sadowsky Metros, which would fit me much better.
