I did see some fender mexi ones for sale, but I only like body end truss adjustments

I agree and it does change the tone a little. It is vary satisfying to play, smoothest you’ll ever feel. I did feel the tone was a little different but not in a bad way. There are great advantages to "roasted" wood, especially for the necks of string instruments. First, roasted wood tends to be more rigid that unroasted, and that's a big plus for a neck. Secondly roasted wood reacts a lot less to changes in humidity compared to regularly dried wood. That means more stability - fewer trussrod adjustments.
The roasted wood will be lighter than the equivalent unroasted. That may be significant for instruments with neck dive.
Many folk, myself included, like the deepened colour of roasted wood.
But there will be a sonic difference. Some may like it, some not.

I'm having a Roasted Lull made up...Mike scrapped the first body, so I will not be until after NAMM that I'm getting this.
I had it made for the stability factor, the cool look is just a bonus.
I hear they are a little 'warmer' sounding.
Anyone else want to contribute to this?
I think roasted necks look nice.
