Interesting what you said aout strings, I'll give a try to the Rotosound.
And, I'll try to dampen a little the strings, but I don't want it to sound like an upright!!!
I know I'll spend much time finding the different sounds in it!
 
You don't want it to sound like an upright? Oh, are you in for a surprise! ;) *I* don't find much of a variety of sounds with my MB-2. Even if I pluck by the bridge, it doesn't sound vastly different from the sounds I get plucking over the fingerboard. All you get is a volume control and your own fingers. Your amp will otherwise have to rescue you.

Uhmmm, yeah, I was meant that I will not use it as an upright, but I love its deep, earthy sound...almost acoustic, but with the improved punch, clarity and attack of a good electric!!!
Tom, post pics of your when it'll arrive...mine is scheduled for the beginning of september, so, yes, Rob is fast!!!
