Wow... can you imagine how good he would be if his bass wasn't that low down! ... I never understood how that looks cool. Oh well... as long as he plays good I suppose I can allow him to look cool.

yeah, his main ones are pretty ripped up, but they did an article on him in bass player with a lot of his "toy" tobiases, and they were mostly the classic and basic models with aladdin sarsippius airbrushed on them. he had a stingray too

But a player like Rob Trujillo, and even Norwood Fisher and Flea...I always wonder why they wear their bass down so low?? Anyone? Don't they know, they could probably play alot better with their up a bit more...but maybe that works for them...I dunno?

But for example, Flea, says in interviews, that with each new album, they mature as musicians, especially on the recent, By The Way, so why don't him and John (especially John) bring up their instruments in height?

I imagine playing that low (at least in say, the Ozzy pic) would allow him to let him play without bending his wrists (either of them) too much.

I kno whe played up high when he was using an RD Artist in ST.

I haven't seen that video in a long time, but that's early Suicidal Tendencies. I believe they actually had a different bass player at that time, so it's likely that it wasn't Trujillo at all. Of course, I could be wrong...
