Robot Factory Meatball clone

Sorry if it's already been answered but:

- Does it run off 9volt power?

- Does it have the effects loop?

- Will you ship internationally? (I'm in New Zealand)

Thanks, Joe.

hey joe

i think i can answer your questions as i received the other meatwad recently from mario.

first off - mario seems like a real accomodating kinda fella - so if you talk to him about what you want - if he can do it for you - i'm sure he will. he seems pretty concerned with making his customers happy with what they order.

-i ordered my unit with the effects loop. yes

-i live in australia and there was no drama at all shipping the pedal to me. he said it was $30 US but it worked out less - so he'd probably adjust accordingly due to NZ's proximity.

-mine runs off 9V adaptor - not a battery though. mario claims that in the enclosure size he uses, a battery just wouldnt' fit and considering the amount of controls and features on the pedal and the size of the box - i'm not suprised. he hinted that battery power would be possible in a bigger box.

hope that helps. let me know if there is anything else i can fill you in on

oh also - mario included a very handy sheet detailing some sample settings etc to get things running quickly.

I'm glad someone listens when I talk/type........... :^)

Yeah, most of those questions were answered correctly....

Battery would not be ideal even if it did fit though...for a few extra bucks I can throw in a filtered/regulated supply if needed..................

I have done MeatWads with:
1). no jacks,
2). effect loop (2 jacks),
3). external trigger & Expression jacks. (2 jacks)
-one sweeps the filter with a seperate signal's amplitude (your drummer's kick for instance...or Patsy Cline singing...whatever). the other sweeps the filter with an external resistance, such as an expression pedal..(some physical co-ordination required)

NZ is no problem, I usually ask at USPS while shipping something elsewhere "how much if this were going to NZ..."
not totally acurate, but pretty close, and it saves me an extra trip.....

I think you guys hit the rest of the questions........

Cheers dude. I'm getting pretty excited about the idea of getting one! After I pay off my holiday over new years I'll be back to buying pedals :smug:
