Just wondering if the Nut and Bridge saddle on the bass been suited to fit the 175 f# string. I have no desire to actually play the bass in that tuning, but to restring it to handle B standard on 4 string (already own a five, would like a comfy four string for live shows).
A regular 4 string bass would need the nut to be grinded away to fit a 135 string and once that happens, you cant go back. Even if the nut space is a little to large, i can always lift the height on the just a nut.
