I know there are a lot of jazz guys and soloist types here (and nothing wrong with that!) - but this one's for the rockers.

If you go after it, then show us how you get there - with a shot of your rig.

Let's try to keep this to rock/alt rock. (Stones to RHCP) vs. pop (Stevie Nicks and Top 40 (come on, that's not rock...)) if that's possible.

Modulus or Zon basses
Aguilar db750 --> aguilar 412
or
Aguilar db680 --> crest CA9 --> two berg 322's

Thats what I use most of the time but I do mix and match with all the gear I have , depending on the room/venue. I do have to say, I really like the demeter hbp-1 pre into the ag db750 into berg cabs. There is something about the db750 power section that has a tone of its own that I like.

My USA Lakland JO w/ Nordstrand NJ4SE pickups, Aguilar DB750 & Aguilar GS410 4 ohm. I have an Aguilar DB210 4 ohm w/matching tolex case on order and a Lakland 55-94 Standard in Trans Kermit the Frog Green on Order. I play in a cover band covering the RHCP, STP, Sublime, Fugazi, Fall Out Boy, Pepper,311, etc.

Nice rig. I'll have to post some pics of mine tomorrow. Even though it's well... the same thing!
