Rockers' rigs

I don't have a pic, but here is my rig.

Line 6 Variax or DiPinto Belvedere

Ibanez TS9DX, Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive, Fulltone Fat-Boost, MXR Phaser (evh model), Voodoo Labs Micro Vibe, Emma DiscumBOBulator, Boss DD-20.

Ampeg SVT-CL > Avatar 2x10 Kappa Pro, Avatar 2x12 Delta LF.

It is a VERY powerful & versatile Rock & Roll rig....

Does that Thunderfunk do a decent job of driving your NV cab? I have the NV610 and NV215, and I'm looking for a solid state or hybrid head to drive one of them. The T-Funk is on the short list.

While I cannot speak for the Thunderfunk... 'cuz I don't have one, nor have I ever seen one... I can definitely say that an Aggie DB750 will do more than a decent job of driving your two Bergs. I have both an NV215 and an NV425, which I hook-up to my Big Daddy Aggie... Let's just say that the combination could be lethal... :eek:

...also, I'll use my Aggie with just one or the other Berg on its own, and it will get the job done... ;)

Yeah, the DB750 is also on the short list. Along with Ashdown ABM500. Cool thing about the DB750 is that it CAN drive both cabs.

It seems like I am always experimenting with something new (you know, in the interests of science, and all that stuff), but here are some most definitely rockin' rigs that I have used:

It sure does. I own a 420 so I'm sure the 550 would do a better job.

It will have it's first run at a band tomorrow so I will check back with you then maybe and I'll let you know how it goes.

Want louder than a T-funk? DB750.

That is my old Pignose B-100V, which I traded to JustBrian. Killer amp, and I would have kept it if my Trace Elliot Twin Valve Combo did not make it "second string."

As for lifting, I'm a big boy with a good back, so it's not really an issue. Plus, everyone needs some form of exercise, eh? :D

You guys have no idea how much "exercise" I get every time I do a different gear shootout! Getting things out of and then back into my basement music room is an event of Olympic proportions! :eek: ;) :D

So far, in my opinion, that Orange 200 watt head is the king of rawk. Ampig Who? I tried it at NAMM and it blew my sox off.

I just bought a Mesa Buster 1 x15, though. I can't wait to hear it paired up with an old Ampig 4x10 that I have, though. It sounds pretty damn good by itself, but doesn't get as hairy as the Orange.

If I was a liberal Democrat, I would have to insist that you be forced to share your wealth... You just have way too much gear for one person to have... there are just so many others who are in need of some of your gear... :D
