In the EA museum pic and the Ultimate Epifani pick, there is a white half rack piece on the left in the rack. What is that?

Raven Labs MDB-1. I have found this to be invaluable when I play multiple instruments with different gain characteristics, and most of the time, I'd use it when I was playing electric, upright, and ABG all at the same gig.

I checked out the first song, from what i could hear(as i only have my laptop speakers) it sounds nice. I would load up the others but my connection is running slow atm. But very nice

Very awesome power amp indeed.

WAY too heavy, but man that rig smoked. The 15's were surprisingly managable to hoist around, though. Awkward, but not that bad.

If I was a liberal Democrat, I would have to insist that you be forced to share your wealth... You just have way too much gear for one person to have... there are just so many others who are in need of some of your gear...

That's the beauty of it Keeaumoku...Tom DOES share the wealth. He's extremely generous with is gear, and in one recent episode, drove 2 hours one way to lend a player in need a preamp. I look off to my side right now, and see two pieces of the Bowlus Bass Borg sitting next to me!

Ace, im still in my young days and use the full head version (SVT-II) and yeah its loud, but its just woof

In this shot, I was using this rig for my "rhythm guitar" (ocatve up signal from UniBass), but in truth, this 4 ohm VL-208 (or two 8 ohm VL-208's) driven by the Walter Woods Ultra makes for a killer 'Mini Rig of Rockin' Righteousness!'

It seems like I am always experimenting with something new (you know, in the interests of science, and all that stuff), but here are some most definitely rockin' rigs that I have used:

The infamous EA Museum Rig (back when this was all the EA cabs I owned!):

The Ultimate Epifani Rig (IMHO):

An amazing mix of the two above rigs:

Some Accugroove Insanity!

Bergantino IP insanity!

The Mighty Sadowky Rig (and yes, the IP112/EX112 and Ampeg combo amp were also part of my rig - for 'keyboard' and 'rhythm guitar')

The rig that will kick out the jams AND offer you a cold one!

SA200 with the mack daddy NV215 (and a Bright Box sitting on top like a cherry on a chocolate float!)

I'm sure I'll dig up more...

My favorite rock rigs have mostly been mutts:

1) Ampeg SVP-Pro -> Eden WT-1000 -> SWR Triad + Goliath II

2) same top with Eden D-115XLT and D-210XLT

And honorable mentions for being darn good when I've used them, but not having had enough gig time to make the list:

SWR Bass 350 with Henry the 8x8.
My usual top with an Aguilar GS410.
SWR SM-400 with Aguilar S410.
SWR SM-400 with SWR Goliath II.

All of these satisfy my requirements for strong, supportive, warm tone without mud, boom, or blur.

And the best one I've head someone else use was an SWR SM-400 into a mesa boogie 2x15. HUGE!
