Rockers' rigs

This is my currrent rig:

This (with either head) was my rig for somewhere around 5 years.

SX P/J I traded my cousin for (upgraded with badass bridge, soon new pickups, and later a new neck)

to pedals: Boss TU-2, EHX Bassballs, Pro Co Rat (Keeley Mods), 2 channel Loooper with a Pearl OC-O7 Octaver on one side and a Boss CEB-3 and an MXR Phase 90 in the other.

to a Sunn 300T and various loaner 2x15 cabs, though I own an Acoustic 406. I just hate carting it around.

I wish I had pictures... :hiding:

Anyway it gives me all the bong rattling you'd expect out of 2x15's with an oddly articulate top end courtesy of some cool EQing on the Sunn head. Plus, I have a lot of supercoolfuntime pedals to stomp on.

I just got the Traynor today, so I did a photo shoot. I'm sure I'll post it up in a few more places.

that's a sharp looking rig! Please let me know how the SWR cabs and tubes mix. I've been bitten by some SWR GAS!

Here is my "does whatever I need it to" rig. Mostly rock as hard as I try to move to Jazz or Soul.

I'm selling my Schroeders (see sig) and replacing them with an SWR 12 stack (tweeterless & ported 4x12) and most likely one of the bigger Accugroove cabs (tri115 maybe).

Have you picked up the SWR 12 Stack yet? If so, how do you like it?

Tom.

Not yet Tom... real soon though. I just got the green light from the boss this morning ;)

I was impressed with the 12-pack (2x12 version) I've played through a couple times and almost bought one when the line came out. Reminded me of my old favorite rig (Kustom 4x12 with EV pro-line stand alone or with a Yamaha 1x18" PA sub).

Those 12-Packs were awefully tempting when they were being blown out! I really had to fight to keep myself from picking up a couple of those. Fortunately, I just didn't have the room. :p

I look forward to hearing how you like the 12-Stack. The 400 should drive it quite nicely! :bassist::bassist::bassist:

I'll definately give loud review sometime within the next week. This amp actually has made me want to do more musically. I'm forming 2 new bands because I'm excited about the sound.

On a side note, the son of bertha was really messing with the colors on the tv in the picture. The sad part is it took me a while to figure out why my tv was only displaying 2 colors. I spent 20 minutes checking the component video cables.
