I was thinking of getting this, since I want to be able to practice without taking my amp when I go visit family. Any good reviews? Recommendations, anybody?

While it works, it's a good example of why guitar players shouldn't design bass gear. Sounds aren't all that good

The original Bass Rockman was built alot more solid, had more functions, even a compressor, and sounded not too bad. The newer, cheaper version by Dunlop is a pale imitation. Still, as said, it works.

I have an original vintage Bass Rockman that I keep meaning to sell on the classifieds here. No power adapter though - it eats batteries by the handful.

Lots of headphone practice options these days.
