It's kind of more geared for guitar players still, IMHO.
For instance, if you're playing guitar & a chord is in the notes, it will actually have the chord name appear on screen, but...
if a chord comes up for bass, nothing on screen except the fret locations on the note highway.

They also have two games for learning chords in the Guitarcade, but those will not appear if you've selected the bass path.

PC users, what are you doing to fight the lag?
I've got my video & audio going to the TV via HDMI & the lag is pretty awful.

Unfortunately my old Creative Labs speakers (really good ones) are not working since I just pulled them out of a closet. I'm bummed, because they were really great!

I wish my soundbar had another input, but both the fiber optic inputs are in use & the only remaining input is a digital Set-Top Box input. It looks like a normal RCA input, but just the one connection handles left & right.

Not 100% sure for the setup on PC as I'm on Xbox, but the game has a lag correction in the settings. Should be under either audio settings or visual settings.

Did not go the PC route after all. I just realized that "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5 is a DLC. That's the coolest bass line ever.

Friday was a day for reviewing PC speakers systems & as I looked at them it dawned on me that my Rumble 40 has an Aux input.
So I filtered through the junk in my closet until I found a 1/8" to 1/8" wire & connected my PC to my amp.
It was LOUD!

I didn't realize that the only control on volume with the Aux in is from the source, so I'll have to scale down the volume in RS to use it like that.
or I could convert the signal to mono & put it through the input of the amp. I know better than summing the low impedance stereo output to the high impedance input.

OTOH, if there are no weird effects, I could just split my signal from my bass to the amp + RS, which I've been doing.
The only reason I'd want to use the Aux is if there are strange effects that I can't mimic on my Rumble.

In praise of RS, it keeps me active. If I had to sit & figure out what I was going to do each day on my own, I'd probably have already quit again.
The missions it gives you are nice for making you pursue it.

Ubisoft have recently declared they're not going to release new DLC while they work on Stage 3.
In the meantime there's a sale on Steam DLC & the game until 11-May.

I just bought a bunch of new DLC from Stream, and downloaded some CDLC from customsforge. Excited to have new things to play while in quarantine. Had to do some tricky computer work to convert the p.psarc to m.psarc for my MAC on the CDLC, but it's all good now.

Interesting set of stats. I would have thought more bass players would have used Rocksmith. I'm learning tons from it. There's still one last song I wish I could find as a CDLC... Kansas - Song for America. I really want to play bass for that song. I saw a guy on youtube play it. He was great. I found a tab sheet for it, but I really want to have the Rocksmith cdlc for it. Can't find it anywhere.
