Waiting on an answer now. Cleaning up the load on my Win 7 Desktop PC to see if it will work there, but would REALLY rather it worked on my Windows 10 laptop...

Been working my way through several songs so far. I think I am ready to play strip clubs. I have Pour Some Sugar On Me at 100%...

Even not looking at the screen, it is nice to have the jam session capability, just to have a band behind you. Although I wish I could push the bass a bit in the mix, but then again, I am biased!

Do you have the steam install or did you use a physical disk?

Steam install. I am starting to suspect a firewall issue... my routers firewall is pretty strict.

Yeah probably a firewall problem in that case, my stream install works even after upgrading to Windows 10. I don't have latency issues either. Have you tried to play it in offline mode?

Nope.

That would solve if it was a firewall problem or if it was an install problem, you wouldn't be able to access the ubisoft server but I haven't found a reason to do that yet.

Too busy to futz with firewall per se. I will try it with my phone as the WiFi access point to see if the problem persists.

Working my way through the various lessons and songs. Plowing through it until I get the 100% and flawless performance response from the system... It's flogging the snot out of my fretting fingers. Much worse than my normal practice routine, but I am VERY glad I am working with this. My progress is WAY faster than it was with a real teacher....

Got home late, wife wanted to watch her DVR episode of Grays Anatomy(or is it Greys I dunno...) so out to the PS3 and Rocksmith I went. I am nailing some songs I haven't tried yet and picking them up nice and quick for me... The Riff repeater has been awesome too. I can stop, back up, slow down, and just hammer on the section I need to until I get it, speed it up a step at a time until I can get it dead on perfect... Hammer through each section, and then stitch them all together and play through...

I wish I had picked this up a year ago!

At it still. Got Pour Some Sugar On Me down in Master Mode, as well as Round And Round. Working on Every Breath You Take. I think that one goes into insane mode immediately after the first pass and tries to get your fingers to fly off...

Working on the Attack Scoring, as well as just playing the songs through my amp, no Rocksmith to see if I have them down. I definately have PSSOM and RAR down pat.... I will be meeting up with band mates this weekend, am excited about showing off the new grooves. I can start moving away from the simplified versions of stuff now... Niceeeee....

Well, I am not quite that anti social, but I get it, you don't want to deal with excess drama that bands often bring. Again, I work and play with only those people I actually like to play with. Hence the drummer problem. The one guy I get along with well that is a good drummer, wants to play bass, not drums. I can drum, but I am super bad at anything beyond bongos and egg shakers so not an ideal situation.

For what it's worth, I am now nailing Pour Some Sugar On Me at 100%, in Master Mode, and have the attack scoring up there as well. Round and Round at about 96%, need to work on it...

I have it too and find that the tuner and guitarcade are pretty awesome. Guitarcade is a great way to make practicing the boring, but essential, stuff fun.

Rocksmith is awesome! I remember last year when I got it, when I got home from school - I would want to play Rocksmith ^_^
I suppose it did have appeal to me as it is a bit on the gamey side but it's great to get my bass playing up. I like to say I can play very well on almost all the songs (not some DLC's) and I have 747 hours (PC) (Geez, I should spend more time practicing - I do now). I also learned how to put custom DLC into the game (fan made DLC's) and that boosts it greatly - I can play to my favourite artists

I have Rocksmith on PS3. A friend of mine has it for PC. From what he tells me is that some smart computer nerds have released more songs for the PC version. Granted, some of the songs can only be played at expert level, but is this true? Should I go buy a PC version 'cause I'm jonesing for more Clash stuff.
