Roger's take, in a nutshell

I'm convinced that many people in this thread either didn't watch or didn't listen to the video.

This discussion is reminiscent of people who do uninformed internet searches about their medical conditions and decide that their cursory search of unsubstantiated claims trumps the experience and knowledge of their medical teams.

Roger Sadowsky has a lot of experience with a consistent product and production method.

Nowhere does he say that anyone needs to purchase a specific bass or type of wood. It is remarkable to me that anyone would interpret his video as such.
 
There was some nuance along the way, but the end was really the most telling - not a whole lot of difference when the guitar has basically no body or neck at all !
this is the most controlled test of tonewood i have come a cross. i'm sure people will pick it a part, but if you have a better experiment, i'd love to hear it.
