Rogue LX408

I was browsing at my local pawn shop today where I have some credit at, and I noticed an 8 string bass on the wall I was intrigued I took it down and saw it was a Rouge LX408 and looked like it was in pretty good shape for 200 bucks. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it? and if I should get considering its not in production anymore.

That's what they generally sold for brand new, and you could get them for less with various discounts. I passed on the closeout at $180 a few months ago. Intonation would always be weird with the bridge arrangement and there were some other problems with them that I don't remember.
