Hey there… I’ve been doing a bit more solo street stuff. I’ve usually play/ improv to ambient backing tracks / beats / loops. I’ve been using a small blue tooth speaker. Sound is pretty crappy as u can imagine.
I’m toying with the idea of using a Roland Street EX Cube to run my double bass with a K and K Bass max plus the loops. I would ideally use a HPF (the notch filter on my EBD may work) to dial out the sub frequencies, I think the Roland’s response is from about 60 up. Not looking for flat out volume just signals I can mix to get a reasonable sound on the street (or tunnels).
Has anyone tried the Roland Street EX with double bass and have any feed back, or can anyone offer any other battery powered solutions.
Cheers
