Why would you say it's mediocre? Get it set up and put some good strings on, and if you can play well, it's fine!
Example right there. Yeah, I know he's good, but it forces me to work on my technique. It's just gotten to where I don't really love my Jazz so much. Although I may need it, considering im going to do the school Jazz band, and the bassist is the frontman.
I need the low action with the insane amount of tapping I do every day. The Jazz sounds like crap with the low action.
Of course, my strings are worn to the core in multiple frets, so they're like palm muting. This gives a horrible dead sound.
Also, on top of me desperately needing a 6er, i may very well possibly land a great band that's going to tour the triangle area. They need a low B. haha.
