...so much so, that I *gulp* bought my second SKB (I found a way, amazingly). I just got my first Roscoe last week. Yes, I think they're that good. The first one is here, and also as my avatar: My first Roscoe! | TalkBass.com

The second one, which is an SKB3005 Custom, should be here by the end of the week or beginning of the next. I snagged a good deal on this one, too. :hyper:

    Annnnd here she is!

    Nice!
Did you mean to make your text white/unreadable on purpose though?

Can you compare it to the Spector? Curious on how the tones are. That Spector 6 looks intriguing to me.

  9. Are you using Safari? It is doing weird, weird things with this site today.

Anyway, OP...that was fast, talking about a great endorsement for Roscoes! Congrats on both, enjoy them!!!

    Nah using Chrome. Very weird!
    Looks like this for me:

  11. Huh. That's bizarre. Must be a TB issue then. People are having all sorts of weird issues today with fonts.

Took me almost 2 years, but my #2 is inbound as well...
The only bass I've considered that could make me put down my 3006 fretless, even if just for a moment...

Actually, the sale for the Spector fell through, so I moved on another Roscoe. I can't see another bass having this much low end, it's insane.

I know what you mean - I'm loving my Roscoe fretless. If I were no so happy with my fretted Ken Lawrence Associate and 55-94 I would get another Roscoe!

It appears that our inability to see the description has to do with a combination of the style we're using (I'm using Social; another TBer reports the same issue with Retro) and the font the OP selected. Not sure what you're using @mmbongo

Sorry for the hijack! The pics are great!

I tried it on Chrome, IE, and my Android...text white on all yesterday. I see it fine today though!

    I really, really like Roscoe's and yet....I don't own one......yet.

    Congratulations on a beautiful bass.

Like I said on another thread, you can't have just one. Two in a week is not unheard of though. You need to get a fretless. I have barely touched my fretted since my fretless showed up.

The tone and B string of my fretless is amazing. Maybe it's the mahogany body. It's definitely different from my ash bodied fretted. I suppose that means I need a mahogany bodied fretted.

See...that's how it goes. Nice that you found used basses. I seem to be stuck with needing things a certain way so I have to buy new.
