This was the very best sounding Roscoe fretted bass that I have owned. It was built for Jon Packard and I bought it. It had a very heavy mahogany body and weighed more than 11 pounds. I should have just bucked it up and kept it. The top looked like looking into blue water.
My take on that bass was the reverse slant PU's made the C string sound fatter and the B string sound more clear.
