Roscoe Club

Here's the body of my Century Standard 5. The neck has been fretted. Tomorrow, I make the pilgrimage to Greensboro! :hyper:

Nice! If I did it again, I'd just ask for a nice piece of mahogany like this one and leave it naked.

Natural oil finish on a mahogany body - nothing more is required for a beautiful Roscoe.

I have a question that I already sent Gard but maybe some of you can take care of: I'm interested in the nut to centerline of neck pickup measurement for the following, all 35" scale 5 string models:

-standard Roscoe spacing
-60s J spacing
-JB positions

I've owned Roscoes of the first two varieties (not currently) but not the JB. I just want these numbers for reference.

Thanks!

I'm workin' on the measurements, but don't have all of the basses to check it on, sadly - we do have the measurements from the neck pocket, those I can get to you tomorrow, Jeff!

Good morning guys. Looks like some of you have been quite busy! :)

Some awesome looking new and in-process Roscoe's on this 3rd generation Roscoe thread! :bassist:

I actually hit the 1st anniversary of one of my Roscoe's this month. I think that I'm healed!:D

Wait for it...... FOUR! FOUR ROSCOES bwaaaa haaaaa haaaa!

So it arrived safely? Awesome! Isn't that Buckeye Burl glorious? Congrats!

And thanks for the awesome trade-ins! Now I can say: Rickenbacker 4003! And '75 Fender P-bass!

Both of my recent bass itches are now scratched. :hyper::D

Everyone should get to go to the shop, pick up their bass and play it bass for the first time. I was lucky enough to get to do that with my 6 string. So cool - even though a couple other "Roscoe Heads" got to play it before I did. :ninja: You know who you are. ;)

What's up Joe!

Congrats on that Koa sticking around. That is an awesome looking and playing bass.

Yeah, I wiped a booger on one of the tuners right before you got there to pick it up. :D

That mahogany Roscoe looks hot! I remember years ago, Ibanez put out a Satriani guitar that was solid mahogany. I don't believe it had any finish as the grain was really porous and open.
