After reading back what I typed it sounds really confusing lol. So, the tone to me sounds the same the feel of the Low B and the G string "feel" different. Hopefully that's as clear as mud. :) I play with the neck straight and action low so there is a lot of bark and what I call Roscoe "rasp" . That is the same on my 34 scale LG6. All of my basses are Ash bodies so they are all more similar than different. The one that the tone sounds different is my SKB 3005 Box Elder built in 2013 with the thinner neck. That one has a bit more naturally compressed sound. It's the only one that sounds objectively different. So I think the neck construction may add more to tonal variety than scale differences in other words.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: My Levy's leather gig bag is the nicest, most durable bag I've ever owned. Literally been around the world 3 times in 25 years, and still looks next to brand new. The only thing that's ever gone wrong with it is (very recently) the zipper pull finally wore through. 8 bucks on amazon and I've got 8 replacements.

My Mono bag main zipper failed, and I emailed them about warranty. Guess what's not covered by their warranty? The zipper. And I just want to say, a gig back without a zipper is just a funny shaped blanket.

I also have a Levy's bag. Mine is part leather and part material. I have been using it for 15 years and it also looks about new. No problems of any kind with it.

My SKB 6 came to me used and was in one of these bags: TKL Vectra IPX Electric Bass Impact-X Case

Seems well made and provides good protection.

Bad 'Roscoe' shot, but I was running around all night and didn't take any pictures myself. I recently changed out the pups in my Century Signature 5 from Roscoe Barts (wired in single coil) to custom-sized Nordstrand Big Splits. There were a few bassists I knew at the show that complimented the tone. I'm sure no one else besides me really cared, but my ears are my #1 reason to jump through these hoops anyway.

I also played my Roscoe JB fretless on an Adele-like version of Love Song, and it absolutely crushed it for a little solo and smooth, buttery goodness. The weird part was the songs that went back-to-back with 'Love Song', and I had to keep the fretless on: Chain of Fools and Black Horse/Cherry Tree.

I’ve owned and used two Mono M80 gig bags since 2015 and have not had any issues with them. They accommodate any of my basses and like the neck support with Velcro strap to hold it in place.
You looking for a gig bag that fits snug around you bundle of joy, try a Harvest leather gig bag.
I’ve received a couple of basses that were shipped in a Music Area Case gig bag that really looks nice and has all of the whistles and bells that you want in a gig bag. If not for the Mono bags, I’d be using them without worries.

And on a side note, I’m just now seeing where Sweetwater.com has a Gear Exchange program for selling and buying used gear.
I need to come from under this rock!

first, try an off-the-shelf hardware store tool. this works in all my Roscoes. you are using the short arm, which is why T-styles are inappropriate, IMO...
if that fits, you're done. if the notch in the body is too small, you may need to have a tiny amount from the tip removed. i expect there are lots of people here who would be glad to do this for you; I would. Or you may already know someone who can. it takes all of one minute...

Really love this 6 - that finish and maple fingerboard are perfect. If you ever decide to sell this in the future please let me know!
