Roscoe Club

Hello fellow Roscoe musician,

Thought I should drop in and say hi.

Here’s my Roscoe, managed to get this beauty a while ago from a great authorized Roscoe dealer. I was surprised it was sitting with the authorized dealer for a period of time.

Was originally looking for another Zon— I’m glad things turned out differently.

I like how Keith uses 1 pc figured tops. My upcoming one has a 1pc quilt top, too.

Beautiful! I like the half-lines on the fretless board. What is the fingerboard wood? It looks kind of like cocobolo.

New Roscoe gig report. Thanks to group member Daniel, I had a great Roscoe trade experience this week. Im now the happy owner of this SKB 3005 with a Spanish Cedar body. Most of my Roscoe’s have ash bodies and I love them. But this SC Roscoe has some gorgeous mids that sounded fantastic on my gig last night. Its not a bad looking bass either (wink). Got lots of compliments on its looks and tone.

Glad you're as happy as I am Scott, after trading you for this beauty. Just like you said, the neck is just outstanding. This 6'er plays better than most 5's I've tried. The tone is thick, sweet, and funky. I'm very blessed, and I hope you get many years and gigs of enjoyment from yours as I hope to with mine. Something tells me this won't be our last Roscoe trade-athon lol...
