Look beautiful I believe they are all from the same slab of Koa. I am going with the natural finish. Can't wait.

We really need some Century 5 Koa gloss pics in here...
Here’s some of mineWe really need some Century 5 Koa gloss pics in here...
I went with an ebony fretboard, and the new signature neck option that's all wenge except for the narrow maple stringers. I've seen one example of that new neck option posted here a few months ago.@edbutler3 that’s a gorgeous Signature you have there in the makings!
What are your plans for the neck and fingerboard?

I'm sure Keith could do that in just a few weeksThat looks great Matt but it sure would look good with a maple BE board!
just kidding!![]()

I'm still questioning my decision on that... Might have been better to stick with the wenge/maple/wenge neck that I've actually played -- but I'm pretty sure it will be fine. At least it will look super cool (in my eyes) with the "all black" ebony and wenge combo. Like a big 90% cacao chocolate bar.![]()

Yep, that's the neck pic I was remembering. Mine might come from the same neck blank -- not sure. I think each neck blank makes 4-6 necks. My memory is hazy. That sound like Gary's (Freddie.G) Roscoe! It is an awesome look, for sure. His is a stunning bass!

Works for me
Compliments of Keith Roscoe: Master Artisan, Bass Luthier Extraordinaire
! !

I have tried not to be a pest. Just check in. He said about 6 weeks. So I checked in at about 7 weeks. He said 2 weeks. I checked in and asked if I might have it for Xmas party gigs Dec 3 and 8. He said that would be pretty tight. My best calculations say that it is finished but needs to be assembled/wired up. As they still don't (to my knowledge) have a dedicated electronics person, I'm sure Keith and Kyle are doing the best they can. It's just a long time to be without your #1 bass.Has it been eight 2-week periods past the 6 months overdue yet?![]()
Now do you see why you really do need more than one #1 bass! It's just a long time to be without your #1 bass.

For sure. And the LG3000 is a great bass. I only switched to my "fill in 5" for one song last weekend. I did some quick "alternate tuning" for a couple songs (DADG and everything down a 1/2 step) or just played up an octave. No one even noticed, or cared, or if they did they didn't say anything. Now do you see why you really do need more than one #1 bass!![]()
