I think that was a custom order someone backed out on and BC bought it for inventory.

I think I would switch the bridge and neck pickups around on that bass. Bartolini uses a different pickup for Treble and Bass so switching pickups may reduce some of the boomyness and rolling to the bridge may give a great "P" tone.
Well, I'm fully back in the Roscoe camp after a few years of trying other basses. I just picked up SKB 3005 #6490 from Gelb Music in CA. Exhibition Boxelder Burl over Ash with a Padauk fretboard. It will go nicely with my SKB 3005 fretless; Maple over Mahogany (painted jet black!) with an unlined Diamondwood board.
Of course, pics when the new SKB arrives.
