Roscoe Club

Thankfully I only really regret selling one bass, but not that much... and I've only bought back one bass I sold (for the same price, thankfully), but then sold it again :rollno:... you can only play so many at a time
My first Roscoe (built for me) was my Century Standard 6 Plus with a beautiful quilt maple top, wenge board and jazz pups. My one and only, last bass I'll ever need. Can do anything on it, right?

I sold it as the 6 wasn't clicking.
I bought it back, thinking maybe I didn't give it a chance. Put all your other basses away, etc.
Sold it again. Maybe 6 isn't for me.
Saw it available again. Bought it back for nostalgia. My first Roscoe, etc.
Sold it. Didn't play it. Wife says if that shows up again...

A couple weeks ago, what shows up on Reverb...

Roscoe USA Century VI 6-string Bass - 2012 | Reverb

Yep. My old 6. The grain on the wenge fingerboard is ridiculous. The "veneer" top is almost as thick as a custom. If you want a great 6 string "jazz" bass, this is it. I think the price is a little high, but it's an amazing bass. If it were a 5 string (what I probably should have had built) it would still be in my possession.

I had that 6 for a while, too. Man, that asking price is high now. Beautiful instrument, though.

Probably a good thing … for you!:D
Poor bass. That’s like 3 different owners in as many weeks (give or take a week or two).

That thing has been passed around more than a spliff at a reggae festival!

Went to play the Warwick. Too much neck dive and reachnon a strap. Surprisingly, Guitar Center nearby had this:

Older LG3000. 3 bolt. D tuner. Sustain for days. Neck is a bit thicker than my other Roscoe’s. Damn nice bass.

Nice bass but does it really do anything that your Century doesn’t already do?

I think a FL would get more play time, but what do I know!
