I am impressed with the PTT2 design, manufacture, and price. I showed one to a curmudgeon friend whose comment was pretty much, "bah, humbug, just another gimmick." SMH while disagreeing with the assessment.

I’m all for innovation but I don’t see the point to this. What issue is it addressing?

Is it against the rules to post a serial number and express interest in re-acquiring a bass? I sold a Roscoe years ago that I might like to get my hands on again.
Just flying by , Redwood is one of my favorite tops and Keith makes a great one. Pairs well with a maple board. That’s all folks View attachment 5308778

I’m sure it’s great but there is zero correlation between weight and resonance. There are light basses that sound good and light basses that sound bad. Similarly there are heavy basses that sound good and heavy basses that sound bad.My 77 Jazz is about the same weight.
I think Keith heard on high that we wanted the Classic Sound without the Classic weight.
It is the best sounding because of its weight. Resonates extremely well.
Not quite the same thing as basses. But yeah the Reddi does sound great. Totally different design than a JDI so that would account for the weight difference. There may be something to the weight thing. I prefer light basses but my REDDI weighed 10 pounds. It sounded great. My Radial JDI was a few pounds, sounded good, but not REDDI good.
