I’m sure you’ll get that from some (another gimmick) but I’ve replaced enough Switchcraft jacks (which are great quality) to know that they usually fail due to oxidation on the single contact point or deformed contact. Having 2 for each contacts should make a real difference IMO.

It’s for people that can’t make up their mind on whether to buy a fretted bass, a fretless bass or a guitar and whether they want nickel or SS rounds or flats loaded ….

Just flying by , Redwood is one of my favorite tops and Keith makes a great one. Pairs well with a maple board. That’s all folks

Nothing wrong with Lakland, or the right Fender. If I weren't playing my Roscoe, I'd probably have a Lakland 55-02.

I was trying to get myself on the 4 string P and or J thing here lately (my Roscoe P is great and the newly custom wound jazz sounds great as well) but I find I just love playing my Century 5.

It is the best sounding because of its weight. Resonates extremely well.

I’m sure it’s great but there is zero correlation between weight and resonance. There are light basses that sound good and light basses that sound bad. Similarly there are heavy basses that sound good and heavy basses that sound bad.

Not quite the same thing as basses. But yeah the Reddi does sound great. Totally different design than a JDI so that would account for the weight difference.
