Roscoe Club

A hhhmmm... I thought the whole point of the Roscoe Club was that its not a club? Never met a more laid back group of peeps..of course there will always be the occasional weirdo but Gard has that covered... I kid I kid.

Occasional? OCCASIONAL??!?!????!!

I take offense at that. There is nothing "occasional" about my weirdness. Nothing. You take that back, right now. :p

Hey Roscoe dudes, can I trouble you guys to help out a potential club joiner for a moment to collect some quick and easy data for me?

I'm looking for a couple of measurements off of each of the different Roscoe body styles, to help me determine which one is going to be the most comfortable for me. Unfortunately, the odds of me being able to try any one of them before making a decision is virtually zero, so I need to find another way of figuring out the best fit.

First thing - I need the measurements from 34" scale instruments ONLY. Nothing against the others, its just that is the only scale I'm considering. :)

Secondly - I've heard that the body size and shape doesn't vary with how many strings you have, and if that is true it doesn't really matter how many strings the instrument you are measuring has...but it would be safest if the bass was a 4 string. Again, nothing against those with more strings, its just that is what I would be buying.

I'm looking for:

- The distance (in inches) from the centre of the nut to the upper bout strap button
and
- The distance from the centre of the nut to the lower bout strap button

I need these two measurements for an LG, an SKB, and a Century. (EDIT: Got some numbers already for an LG, but a second set to confirm never hurts!)

If for some reason you don't feel okay with posting the data here, please PM me with them.

Many, many thanks fellows! I really appreciate it!

Gonna be a newbie to Roscoeville when this girl arrives...looking forward to it! Got an emailed spec sheet from Gard, then I called him...picked up after one ring, and a really nice guy. So far, so good!

Really nice guy? That was someone pretending to be Gard.
