So here it is day 8 and still no bass. I am a little pissed because I had shipped it in a $175.00 gig bag. Now I need to find a new gig bag too. Man this is just not right. I will post back in a couple days once I see how UPS is going to rectify this situation.

That is a total bummer!:rollno:

Hopefully this story will still have a happy ending. That bass is somewhere and UPS needs to find out where it is.

A few years ago, UPS 'lost' a Rivera guitar combo amp I ordered. There is a UPS hub about 5 miles from my house, it was tracked to there but never went 'out for delivery'.

There's only one way to 'lose' a package that big. It fell into some UPS employees car trunk.

I hope they find your Roscoe, Steve. That's heartbreaking :(

Wow, that is unbelievable, I think the least they can do is refund the shipping charges don't you? Did they even mention anything like that to you?

I'm so glad to hear that the Lost Roscoe has been found. I hope it arrived safe and sound.

On an unrelated note, my century is due for a little trust rocked week in the vast multiple sets of Allen wrenches that I have, both us and Metric, I cannot find one that fits correctly. What is the correct size Allen wrench for the truss rod? Anybody know?

I believe I might be able to assist you here. 8-)

9/64"

The tricksy part may be that you might need to shorten the "short leg" of the allen wrench a bit to make it work. If you have access to a grinding wheel, this is a pretty simple & straightforward job. Just knock a bit of the length off the short leg, keep a cup of water nearby to dunk it in (if you don't, you'll be reminded quickly enough :D ), clean up the tip on the wire brush side, try to fit it into the trussrod nut, if it won't go easily, knock a bit more off....eventually it will just go in like it lives there. :)
