Debating picking up one of these for my home practice and jazz combo gigs.
For Sale - Aer Amp One Godly Bass Combo
Currently have a Genzler MG800 and BA12-3 cab which is really nice but big and separate. I really miss my combo. I played one many years ago at a Roscoe GTG and was very impressed. I love Genzler and Bergantino, but neither has quite what I want in a loud, low small combo. Here's a You Tube clip of this outside, on a stage with a drummer and it's pretty darn impressive.

Someone posted this in another thread a few days ago - interesting comparison of tiny amps. The AER doesn't sound bad, especially if you find one used. I'll always go with a PJB if the option is available (and reasonable).
I’m using my Genzler BA210 / MG800 in the vertical position with no problem & even Jeff mentions on the Genzler thread that one of his customers reported how good his 210 was sounding vertical.
Dig! I’ve been using it at a restaurant gig & it handles it just fine! I had been using a pair of BA 112’s - not that there’s anything wrong with that ;-) BUT having to take only one cab? I’m in! Thanks again for that box!
1+ - My AER amp three is a little beast. You need to get that one.
I am very tempted. I have played Genz Benz/Genzler for a long time and really like it...but these are amazing and small and loud and deep. It's like you really can have all 3 things in one...to a point.
I may make an offer as I think the price is a little high as you can get a new one for $300 more.
Yep, but with that being only a 17% difference I'd opt for a new, too. But still, saving$ is saving$ and if it's in great, new-like condition, then you can't beat that -- but you could miss out on it too.
I am debating that. I like the "all in one" that the AER offers, but have always been happy with Jeff's stuff and his CS is beyond reproach.
I'm exploring a trade that would get me an MG350 and some cash for my MG800. Take the cash and use on a BA10-2 and try to sell my BA12-3 later. Or keep it as a pairing for those occasional outdoor gigs where a little more bottom would be good. Then I'm just "hauling" the combo for most things, but have the option for more with the 2nd cab.
Or maybe trade the BA12-3 for another BA10-2 down the road. Lots of options without taking too big a hit in selling/trading brand new gear.
The nice thing about head swapping is they are small and light so shipping doesn't kill you.
