Just got my new Century Custom 5. What a gorgeous bass. Certainly on par with my Fodera Monarch. Koa on Swamp Ash and the most beautiful Birdseye Maple fretboard. The Koa inlay at the 12th fret is a nice touch. Can’t wait to get some use out of it this weekend!

There is nothing that plays better than a Roscoe. Really starting to learn and appreciate the Roscoe Bart tone the more I play it.

There really isn’t a bass that plays like a Roscoe. I keep trying to convince myself a Fender P for example would be good enough at 1/2 the price, but then I play one and, even though I haven’t tried a Roscoe Classic yet, I just have a feeling I’d love it. if I’m going to play a “P” bass, it may as well be a Roscoe.

Also, all my Roscoe’s have been BART/BART so I agree that it’s a good combination.

My Century 5 seems to fit just fine in my old Protec Contego bag so I’ll try that for a while and save myself some money.

I'm not sure if they are identical. Keith gets them bulk-packaged in big bundles. They come in clear plastic bags. If I had to guess, I'd say those are close, if not identical.

Question for my Roscoe Brethren...I’m thinking about getting my Bart Roscoe preamp upgraded to the Demeter preamp. Where can I get one? Does Keith at Roscoe still offer them?

Ok guys, I've been working in the basement all day and finally got my string swing up in the bass & wine room. Once I finish the trim, I'll be ordering a custom wine rack for the right. Put my 4 Roscoes together for the first family picture ever. Then I threw more on the wall because they just need to be together. Been waiting for this room to come together for years, looks like 2018 might be it, God willing!
