Let's not go there with purses!!! I had to reformat her closets (plural is correct) to accommodate the many, many, many (did I say many) purses she has.

HA! I was thinking the same thing. My 15-year-old can't heat up lunch without leaving all kinds of food residue on the fridge and microwave handles, and every surface between the kitchen and where he ends up eating. The thought of that on my basses makes me cringe!

So I just practiced a bit with the new D’Addario XL170 nickels. I used to use Hi Beam 45-125 and I like the 130 B string so far. Anxious to hear it “in the mix” at church tomorrow.

Just kept telling myself the worst case was I HAVE TO shop for a replacement (or two). But all went well.

No they aren't! That's why I upgraded the Roscoe gig bag to the Roscoe OHSC.
Once I left one out when they came over and one of the girls tried to use it for a stage!

Thanks!! I like the LG body anyway, so having the three really don't bother me. Plus, I'm still expecting the Demeter BEQP-1 any day/week/month, which now might go in the Buckeye Burl to upgrade the Bartolini preamp that's in it.

I’ve been thinking about picking up a stock Demeter just to have on hand (I’m sure I’ll eventually want to install it in my Custom Roscoe). James can be slow at delivering. Those aren’t big money makers either.

I just got the Buckeye Burl setup tonight and haven't really had a chance to compare it to the other Bird's Eye Maple, which I'm sure will sound close in voice. The LG Koa stomps on both of them with Demeter under the hood. For whatever reason, and I'm sure I don't know why, the LG Koa just wore out its welcome Warner Robins.
