Mine are white, and they after visible enough on a darkened stage...Either way, unless the dots or lines are lumilay or similar, you won’t see them on a darkened stage anyway.

A second week of favorable reviews from the sound of the Roscoe with the Chromes has raised my curiosity, so I just ordered a second set of D'Addario Chromes for one of my passive XYZ basses!! I just love the way they feel, and so easy to play them! The tension on these just feels good!!
I suspect these Chromes have a long playing life? If that's the case, I can see putting them on a few more of my basses! Unlike the TI Flats, these Chromes can be slapped and pop without then sounds duddish! Is that a word?

Does anyone prefer to use strings that have a silk wrapping around the string ends to help prevent damage to your precious hardware?
Yes. Some have very limited choices. Headless basses. And Dingwalls with string lengths from 34" to a 37" B string.Does anyone prefer to use strings that have a silk wrapping around the string ends to help prevent damage to your precious hardware?
