Got Devin Cline making me a set like these to match body woods in my Koa Roscoe. Love the looks of wood but they also save about 6-8 ounces off the weight of the metal knobs Keith uses.
Just talked with Keith!! My LG Buckeye Burl will be finished tomorrow and shipped back to me. I should have it by Saturday, just in time to gig with it on Sunday!! 
Congrats! I can’t wait until I get that tracking number. Mine should be done in a few weeks.
Bigger Congratulations to you, my friend, because yours IS a new custom build!!! Mine should just feel like a new one! But the enthusiasm is about the same!
The wood knobs are beautiful but...I really like the black knobs on my basses. I like a little contrast. Matching knobs. Matching pickup covers. It all gets a bit much for me.

Before I read the caption I’m looking at this bass and thinking, ‘That bass looks a lot like mine!’.

Don’t laugh at that!! He doesn’t need encouragement. Besides, we retirees hate driving long distances without a two-day layover and multiple stops along the way!!
