I just found out that a Darkglass Hyper Luminal compressor doesn't come with a power supply (and you can't use a battery)!
Bummer! It's arriving tomorrow and all I can do is look at it!

It's prolly not bad to look at!

Darkglass has dark secrets/suprises!

Shouldn't form or some acoustic material be in the windows of music rooms? I am asking for a friend!

I've actually got the best wife a man could ask for. She has always said to get whatever I want bass gear wise. As long as I don't go in debt for it lol.

Yep and you need a GOOD power supply that gives you at least 250ma continuous. Not 200, not 249, TWO FIFTY! Ask me how I know

When Keith built my first medium scaler back in 1999, we met in New York City and I had him measure the neck precisely on my PRS #11. It was the only bass I owned from 1977-1999 and I had it appraised and realized it was too valuable to ever leave the house again.

It was medium scale and 24 frets and Keith did a ridiculously awesome job of duplicating the feel exactly.

Later on, I wanted a twin, as I have been known to break strings on stage - so on this one I wanted it even wider at the nut and much more like a P Bass neck. I basically turned Keith loose in the end and told him to make it slightly wider and thicker, but to fashion a neck that was comfortable for him. Part of the joy I have with my 25 basses is that all of the necks have a slightly different feel and personality. They all teach me something in their turn.

PRS necks are very easy to play! Their Grainger core basses are excellent players!

PRS Grainger's are a killer XYZ bass. That's one bass I sold that I really miss. Neck was absolutely amazing. Somehow so small yet so solid and fast feeling.

They come ready to jam straight out of the box! Their electronics is tops, too! I’m not sure who builds the preamps or pups for PRS, but I’ve never even considered changing them out! Killer tone!!!!

Yes, killer basses. I miss my PRS. I describe them as a cross between a Sadowsky, Roscoe, and Spector in terms of tone.

Very versatile! Capable of answering the call and handling anything you throw at it.
I’ve had mine posted for sale, like most of my basses when looking to fund something else, then I’ll play it and pull the for sale post!

Sounds like your PRS has a bad case of PMS. Or .... maybe you do!

That red PJ is beautiful, Does it sound like a P bass? The Roscoe bodies are always easier to play then the Fender ones in my opinion.

Best I remember it did. Gard brought it with him to the 2013 Middle Ga GTG.
But to be honest, it had been so long since I played a P-bass I really couldn't remember then (but I know now since I'm playing a couple).

I stopped at a GC on the way home today and found a XYZ Jazz Elite 5'er, which is rare since I usually only find 4 strings there of that brand. It was new, but they were trying to move it with a Clearance tag.

I played it for about 20 minutes! It wasn't all that bad of a playing bass, even with the generic setup, but the electronics left a lot to be desired! Back home with my basses now! Ahhh Nirvana!

Whoa! That is a bummer. A few months ago I bought a One Spot power supply for my guitar pedals (a very new thing for me). As long as you have connector cables, it will power several pedals.

The 1 Spot is actually what I have on order. It won't be here until next week so I'm actually trying to resist going by GC in Macon and seeing if they have any in stock. I guess that I could always use a backup!
